We have adopted the Balena platform, which is well-suited for IoT and recommended for setting up the Evolo Gateway. The solution provides stable operation, easy remote support, and the ability to automatically update the gateway software.

Intel NUC

(An Ethernet connection is recommended for optimal stability.)

Installation

Connect the device to the local network.
After approx. 10 minutes (depending on the device and network), the Evolo Gateway is installed.
Open a web browser and retrieve the key via:
- http://evolo-gateway.local:8080
- or http://[device's IP]:8080 if .local does not work.
