Before You Begin

You must have a PC with Bluetooth available. Bluetooth is used to connect the heater to the local network by entering the Wi-Fi SSID and password.

The integration is local to ensure stable operation and reliable communication between the panel heaters and the Evolo Gateway.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Go to Configuration and select Applications.

  2. Click Add New Application.

  3. Enter a name, a description if desired, and select the gateway.

  4. Enter the Wi-Fi SSID and password for the network the heater will connect to.

  5. Put the oven into registration mode by holding down the button labeled β€œOK” with the Wi-Fi symbol.

  6. Click "Connect" in "Evolo" to search for the oven via Bluetooth.

  7. Select the oven in the Bluetooth dialog on your PC.

  8. Once registration is complete, the IP address and key will be filled in automatically.

  9. Select which data points the application should use.

  10. Click Create.

Select data points

You can retrieve the following types of data from the oven:

  • temperature

  • setpoint

  • power

  • energy

  • communication status

  • timestamp

We recommend using a virtual data point of the data store type.

The gateway retrieves data every minute and stores it in the selected data points. When the desired temperature changes, Evolo writes the value back to the oven.
