Create notification channels

Here's how to create channels to which notifications can be sent in Evolo. You can create channels for email, SMS, or webhooks.

Here's how to do it

  1. Go to Configuration and select Notification Channels.

  2. Click Create New Channel.

  3. Enter a name for the channel.

  4. Select the type of channel you want to create.

  5. Fill in the fields for the channel.

  6. Save the channel.

Channel Types

Email

Use email if notifications are to be sent to an email address. The channel can also be used for reports.

SMS

Use SMS if alerts are to be sent to a mobile phone number. The service costs 1 krone per SMS.

Webhook

Use a webhook if alerts are to be sent to a URL. The message is sent in JSON format. You can also add custom fields that are sent in a `custom_fields` array. 

Push

Use push if you want alerts to be sent directly to a mobile device or PC. The channel is created automatically when you Enables push notifications on a device. The service is free.
