Import calendar items from Excel

You can import multiple calendar items at once using Excel. This makes it easier to create many calendar items all at once.

Here's how to do it

  1. Go to Configuration and select Calendar Objects.

  2. Click Import to open the import dialog.

  3. Click Download Template.

  4. Open the template in Excel.

  5. Fill in the calendar objects in the β€œCalendarprocesses” sheet.

  6. Select the updated template in the import dialog.

  7. Click Import.

Common fields

Name

The name of the calendar item.

Type

Select the type of calendar object. You can choose "Room" or "Generic."

Mode

The name of the data point used to change the mode of the object.

Write Last

Select whether Evolo Gateway should write the last value after a restart. The default is Yes.

Fields for generic calendar objects

Cyclic

Enter "Yes" if "Evolo" is to write the active mode cyclically to the data points.

Cyclic interval

Select the interval for cyclic writing. Valid values are 5, 15, 30, 45, 60, 120, 240, and 360 minutes.

Mode options

Here you define which mode options the calendar object should have. The field is filled out in JSON format and must contain at least value and display_name.

Fields for room calendar objects

Room temperature

The name of the data point that reads the room temperature.

Room setpoint

The name of the data point that reads the room setpoint.

Outside temperature

The name of the data point that reads the outside temperature of the building.
