The Adax/Glamox app lets you connect to Adax or Glamox panel heaters via your local network. You can view data such as temperature and energy usage, and set the desired temperature for the heaters.
To register the heater with Evolo, you must have a PC with Bluetooth available. The PC uses Bluetooth to connect to the heater and connects it to the local network using the Wi-Fi SSID and password.
The integration is local to ensure operation and optimal communication between the panel heaters and the Evolo Gateway.
Getting Started
1. Go to Configuration → Applications
2. Click "Add New Application".
3. Fill in the required fields for the application.
The following fields must be filled in:
- Name and description
Enter a name for the application and add a description if desired. - Gateway
Select the gateway for the data points to be used. WiFi SSID
Enter the name of the WiFi network the oven should connect to.Password
Enter the password for the WiFi network.
Register the oven with the Evolo Gateway:
- Put the oven into registration mode by pressing and holding the button labeled "OK" with a WiFi symbol on the oven.
- Then enter the WiFi SSID and password in Evolo, and click Connect to search for the oven via Bluetooth and start the registration.

- In the Bluetooth dialog on your PC, select the oven when it appears.
- Once registration is complete, the IP address and key fields will be filled in automatically.
Select data points
Data Points
Select the data points you want to write data to. We recommend that you create a virtual data point with the data storage type.Type
Select the type of data you want to retrieve from the oven.- Temperature – Measured temperature (Value)
- Setpoint – Desired temperature, can be changed via Evolo (Value)
- Power – Current power (W). (Value)
- Energy – Cumulative energy consumption (kWh). (Value)
- Communication Status – Displays communication status with the oven. (True/False). (Boolean)
- Timestamp – Unix timestamp for last contact with the furnace.
Finish with Create
Complete the process by clicking "Create".
The gateway will then retrieve data every minute and store it in the selected data points. If the desired temperature changes, Evolo will send the new value to the oven.
