News and Improvements

The Evolo top system has been updated. We’ve had a flying start to the year with lots of new features and improvements. As usual, we’ve focused on energy monitoring with integration with spot prices, but we’ve also added the ability to upload building technical documentation to the top-level system.

Energy Monitoring

In the energy monitoring feature, you can import spot prices from Nord Pool for your desired area or select a fixed price.

The prices listed are sourced from the Nord Pool power exchange and show spot prices for the various price areas in Norway. All prices are exclusive of surcharges. Prices include VAT, except in Northern Norway, which is exempt.

• Separate tab for costs In the “Costs” tab, you’ll see a cost estimate based on the energy meter’s consumption.
  
• Separate tab for Power Consumption In the Power tab, you can analyze the power consumption for an energy meter. Your installer can help you set up this data source.
  
• Spot Price Integration with the Gateway We’ll also make the spot price available to your Evolo Gateway, so you can control your system based on the electricity price. For example, you can shut down parts of the system when electricity prices are high. This feature, along with load balancing and maximum power limit control, is just around the corner.

Documents

We recently launched the Documents module for each facility. Here you can upload files, such as maintenance records or building technical documentation.

Drag and drop a file from your desktop, or enter an external link to upload it.

General Improvements for Installers

Views / View Builder

• When uploading an image, you can now drag the image directly into the browser to upload it.
• Click on a slider’s value to view the log in a view.
• New view examples have been added for Dashboard, Emergency Lighting, and Calibration.
• It is now possible to sort components at the front of a room; look for the "Order at Front" field.
• When selecting multiple elements in the View Builder, you now have the option to delete or duplicate all selected items.
